Cornish Driftwood Drop Earrings with Azurite Inlay

Deep blue azurite mineral set into driftwood — bold, natural, and so light you can wear them all day.

Cut from a piece of north Cornwall driftwood, these longer drop earrings carry a line of pure azurite down the centre. Hand-crushed in the workshop using a pestle and mortar, the mineral gives a deep, slightly shifting blue — darker in low light, brighter in direct sun. The inlay is built up in stages and sealed under a clear hard coat, then finished to 3000 grit. Danish oil and beeswax nourish and protect the exposed wood. 45mm × 10mm × 3mm, approximately 2.2g the pair. Light enough to wear all day. Findings are nickel free, silver tone metal with handmade copper jump rings with pure copper and sterling silver also available.
