Driftwood and Azurite Drop Earrings

A delicate pair of driftwood earrings featuring a vibrant blue vein following the natural curve of the wood.

Cut from a single piece of driftwood gathered on a Cornwall beach. The pith check is cleared to make a channel along the length of each piece and packed with hand-crushed azurite for a deep blue vein running through the grain. The backs of these driftwood earrings have shocks of pink naturally occurring in the wood and were revealed after sanding the weathered surface. So light you'd forget you're wearing them. At just over 1g, they are hung on silver-tone hooks with a hand made copper jump ring linking wood to wire. Sterling silver and copper findings are available as an upgrade. Driftwood is one-off by nature, so the grain and inlay line on this pair won't be exactly repeated. Totally unique and one of a kind.
